Northlew Preschool

Welcome to Northlew Preschool.

Northlew preschool provision is available for 3-4 year olds within our school setting. We are open from 8.45am to 3.30pm each week day during the school term.

The preschool setting offers opportunities for inside and outdoor learning in the school grounds and local area.

Led by Mrs Medland, our EYFS and KS1 Teacher, our dedicated team provide a variety of fun and interactive activities to support children's learning in a nurturing environment.

Parents can use all or part of their 15 or 30 hours funded early years childcare for 3-4 year olds. We also offer the uptake of additional paid sessions.

The Department for Education has now published the Early Years funding rates for 2026-2027. To ensure our Trust remains aligned with these national rates, the updated fees have been applied to bookings from 20th April 2026 across all Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust preschool settings.

If your child uses additional hours beyond their 15 or 30 entitlement, or if they do not receive funded hours, the hourly rate is £5.66 per hour from the term after their 3rd birthday.
